FAQs on Women's Health Consulting
FAQ's
I offer non-clinical consultations on women’s health topics such as menopause, hormone therapy, gynecologic conditions, birth control, surgical decision-making, and more. My goal is to provide education, clarity, and support based on over 30+ total years as a practicing OB/GYN.
No. I am retired from clinical practice and do not prescribe medications, perform exams, or treat patients. My role is strictly advisory. I offer consultations to help you better understand your options and prepare for conversations with your healthcare provider. We also offer some in-person services (see our services page)
Absolutely. Many clients seek a second opinion or want more time to discuss concerns than they’re able to get during routine visits. I help you feel more informed and confident in making decisions about your health.
Yes. I work with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians who want to consult on complex cases, improve menopause care and other types of care in their practice, or get a second opinion from a peer with decades of OB/GYN experience. I also give talks to local and community groups as well as larger groups and societies about many different topics in women's health care.
